nice looking young bear, he's just courious and rooting for food, not that dangerous if you use common sence, we have bears around here about once a week or so,its kind of amazing as im what i considered far enough down in the valley so they wouldnt be much of a bother,didnt used to see them until about 10 to 12 years ago, as the town up the road is a tourist trap, tourists = easy food pickings, food left whithin reach for convience while camping,food left in cars, yep yogi thought so too lol , and bears love dumpsters, and are quite adapt ad getting them open for all the goodies inside,out on our place, i think they are after the mineral cakes, salt licks ect left out for cattle plus its remote, good cover and water around here, the closest ive ever been? i fed one a bucket of water on foot one time,after idiot tourists had chased him around with a suburban in the middle of july, the bear was around this size and was much too worn out to give anybody any trouble, but he did like that water, i chased the idiots off and the bear left after he rested awhile. i wouldnt try that with a bear that hadnt been run to the point of exhaustion though
