Well Always, you're probably right about the hay bine, About all of them were properly named mower conditioner. But around this area they are all called hay bines. I just thought that others would get the picture of what I was asking about. Thanks for the replies all of you, we bought it. It seems pretty darned tight, a little rusty since it's been sitting in the building for the past 5 years or so. Kinda like the idea of no wobble box like the New Holland has. Still prefer my drum mower but with the iron weeds coming up in some of the rented fields this year, I thought it would be good to have the crimper to help dry them. $500 wasn't too much for it was it.
