Its up to you to figure out which is which and wether or not you will help. Ussually there is some things that don't add up if things are not right. Abled bodied person that claims to not have a job, homeless person that is wearing better shoes than I am or without a shopping cart, and so on. Ussually always a dead give away on appearance, and if not, ussually a couple questions will give it away verbally if something is not right. Someone in need is likely to ask once and move on cause they are really looking for help. Someone just trying to scam you out of money is likely to be pushy about it cause they just want the money and don't really need any help. My 2 cents.
