There is another line of thought on having lots of insurance. You make yourself a bigger target. An ambulance chaser wont mess with you if you dont have much insurance. But, if you have property they can come after, then it's not worth the risk of not having it.
Personally I think it should be a law that "looser pays" on lawsuits. If they sue you for some BS, and they loose, then they should have to pay all of your costs to defend against them.
Plus there should be a season and bounty on lawyers. Bring their ears into the county clerks office and collect $50 just like we use to do with coyotes here.
