Unstyled is the rough look of the 30's and before. Styled is the streamlined look of the 40's and later with a grill and smoother looking hood ect. All manufacturers made the change at some point. Farmall made the change when they went from their F series to their letter series. Deere made the change in the middle of the production of their letter series. Thats why Deere letter series gets refered to as styled or unstyled and some other manufactured tractors don't, because people are refering to a different series in those cases. Vehicles, train locomotives and rail cars, and other things got styled into streamlined during this same era.
