That is amazing. I figure 10 years but 1968?. When I was a kid we had a poor man's boat and old trailer with "will pops" on it. As I remember they were horribly cracked.
One day we were coming home from a fishing trip and I heard a bang out the rear of the car and another and another then a boom.
Dad pulled over and sure nuf, one of the will pops did. Course we had no spare. Don't remember how we got it home. He just didn't have anything to do with mechanical things.
