dej, thats not unusual, years ago we bought our (used) GMC Sierra his price was $10,000.00 from a dealer (Marquardt) and drove it for around 6k miles in 2 years. Went back to them, seen a nice 99 GMC Yukon, cloth seats, new front tires and rear tires were cupped. Went in to see how much trade in allowed on our Sierra---- his trade in value was $2000.00 and still wanted over 14,000 for the Yukon. We went to Rogers,Mn and bought a year newer Yukon, with leather seats, all power options, great body no rust, one owner (woman)for 10,000.00 out the door. Only problem we found was the transfer case leaked from a wear thru part. Made a deal with GM for a new transfer case for their cost plus 10%, wound up around $300.00 for the transfer case and we kept the old one,put a patch on it (over the wear thru hole and no leaks) Still have it in the shed,in the case the new one came in. If we have a failure we still have the spare. But dealers are like lawyers, when their lips move, they lie.lol.
