If I did that then I'd be the one that runs it over next time. Let the grass grow up around it and here I come pulling in and forget all about it. And I hate gates, other than the ones for the cattle. The biggest loser if I put a gate out is myself because I'm the one who has to jack around with it every time I want in/out and then the keys are in the wrong vehicle when you need in. I guess we are lucky around here because I never have any problems.
