DP- Jack is correct on the interchangeability of the HG's and OC-3's. However, before I went into the rear, check to be sure that the linkage that affixes to the lever to the rear of the tractor is intact and working. The bands are relatively easy to replace on these machines. I do not know your location, but there are still a few here on the east coast. I have had more than a dozen HG's, OC-3's and OC-4's. Your best source for parts is Landis Zimmerman in Ephrata, Pa. (717) 738-2573 M-F only. Best of luck. : Hello, DP - : There are a few floating around, as well as the later OC-3's, which have many similar parts. (We have some spares for our OC-3's.) : The problem with the inactive steering lever may be as simple as a broken brake band, which can be welded. Accessible after draining the transmission and removint the rear cover plate (or PTO assembly, if fitted). Silicon replaces the gasket on re-assembly, unless you want to make one from a roll of gasket material. : You might try re-posting with a title like "Cletrac HG-42 info wanted" to stir up more interest. : Drop me an e-mail if you have more questions! : Good luck!
