Neighbors on both sides of me just finished up their 3rd cutting of alfalfa. 3 Ton to the acre. Looks like they will be getting a 4th cutting. Hopefully I'll get mine planted this fall.
These are 100 to 110 lb bales. We sell a lot of small bales here, lots of horse people. Don't see any round bale in this part of the country, just the small bales and the large squares 4x4x8 bales. A lot of people call the large bale 1 ton bales, but friend of mine that bales the large bales says he has never had one over 1860 lbs.
