For me, finding a cheaper kaw oil filter was a learning experience, car filters can be used on small engines. Guess a 65 year old person can learn something new.
I know 2 other people who are glad to learn what I discovered. One guy just paid the dealer almost $200 for service, oil change, filter and replaced the oil in front and rear differentials and a new oil filter, $15. Engine takes 2 qts and both differentials less than 3 qts.
My first engine service was over $160, ouch. All of us have decided to change our own oils and filter.
