I have an insulin exemption CDL and a medical card. It took me 6 months to get it and then you have to see you dr every 3 months and eye dr every year. You test before you drive and must keep BS between 100 and 300 and keep a log of this. Lots of paper work to DC FMCSA plus sending duplicate medical card and certification to the state. Get on their web site and do some studying. It can be done, I did it and my dr has several with it. Good luck.
