Dunner, I have been researching the filter. All I have found so far is a cross reference to aftermarket and stens filters used on lawn mowers. Then late last night on kaw forum, I discovered the kaw guys using car filters for years.
I am glad to hear others are using car filters on their mower engines. I have 2 briggs, 2 kohler, and 2 kaw engines. If I can use a better car filter at less cost. I'm going to use it.
