I really think that woman was just a professional beggar. They are everywhere, in our area, due to several interstate highways crossing. Just a few days ago, I was approached by a woman in a wide-load escort van. Claimed she needed money to get the next job. Told her sorry, my own business is all I can afford to finance.
A few years ago, I had some major health problems, and had trouble getting around, and looked like I had one foot in the grave. During that time, everywhere I went, Beggars would come out of the woodwork to harass me, even to the point of being threatening.. Most beggars are nothing but predators that prey on people so they can buy liquor and drugs.
