Very unique tracked JD. According to an article in an old Gas Engine Magazine (~2003), the Lindeman brothers converted a single "D" to a crawler. Apparently JD didn't like it as it was the only one made prior to the switch to the "BOs". The one pictured does not resemble the Lindeman, but may be a Bombardier, Trackson, Nodwell, or Roadless conversion? Thanks for the great pictures 1206!

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
