Hi William, you did the correct thing by pulling the main fuel line off at the primary filter. Fuel should flow at the full of the line. If you have compressed air, you can blow back the main fuel line to the tank and that will give you a quick fix. Only solution is to drain both sides of the saddle tank and remove the outlet out of the bottom of the tank. My brother had the remains of a lady bug in his 684 fuel tank causing the same problem.
