We had good luck with those fabric softener paper pieces that you put in the clothes dryer. Forgot the name but they work good and don't smell as offensive as mothballs. I am sure someone else will see this and call it what it is. Maybe, "Bounce" not sure but they last all winter and we don't have mice problems if we use them. We put them in car, combine, tractor cabs and even boat with good results
