That does seem to be a common theme this year, "Close everything that I don't use or benefit from".
I suppose the next step will be sell off all government assets to private companies and privatize all government services. Somehow I doubt that the Wall Street and Enron types would do a better job of providing least cost services to rural areas than our locally elected officials are doing now. But we won't know for sure until we try it.
