By chance, did you replace the gas cap with one of those locking caps? Just a guess, but it sounds like the level sensor in the DEF tank is shot, and set off those codes because you ran out of DEF. Im almost positive theres an update to the programming for something similar, if it pertains to the 11s as well as the 08s & 09s. My 08 set of one of those, dont remember which now.
