One word of advice: (I used to be a hearing aid tech in the audiology section of Mayo Clinic) Ask your audiologist about a "Super Dri-Aid" jar (I think the brand we sold was HAL-HEN). It is a jar of desiccant pellets that draw moisture out of the aids. You just place your hearing aids inside each night and put the lid on.
The pellets are blue and white... when they begin losing their color, you can dump the pellets into an oven safe dish and bake them to reactivate their desiccant properties again. Cool them and put them back in the jar. (Eventually you will need a new jar -- but they last quite awhile.)
