I have learned if ya want a good cattle dog They need to learn to respect each other and they Will. I have a very good dog with cattle he listens to me and will stop when I say stop if I tell him to getum or get it He will and Quits when I say . The cows leave him alone and he them When they are in the same pen when were not moving them If the gate gets opened to drive in with a tractor he moves them away from the gate. He is 1/2 boarder collie and 1/2 lab. .If I open a gate to move cows he will put them in a group and move them to the gate.
