I'm live 200 or so miles away, in Concord, NC. Unfortunately I haven't heard of them, but will do some asking around and report back if I find anyone who knows them.
If you'd posted a few weeks ago, I was on vacation about 45 minutes from Wilmington and would have gladly taken a side trip, and gone up to take a look for you.
I'm sure there are some independents in the area that you can pay to take a look. Unfortunately there is still the problem of dealing with someone you don't know. One of my customers did that recently for a machine down that way and wound up with the proverbial 'pig in a poke'. The machine had obvious problems but the guy they hired to look at it didn't do much and missed every problem. As a result, they way overpaid for a new set of pads and rails on a partially worn out undercarriage, and now, it's going to cost them big to get the brakes, and other stuff fixed on their 'new' dozer.
That said, I am currently busy as heck, but if you can't find anyone else, shoot me an email and I would still be glad to drive down and do an inspection for a fair price. Not sure how fast I could work it in, but I'd be glad to give it a shot. My email is open.
