I'll second that, Bob..... The problem sounds like it needs recharging. If it is not getting cold enough to condense the humidity from the air, then it is not cooling as it should. Ideal evaporator temperature is about 34 degrees F. Any colder will cause icing, much warmer, and it simply lacks effectiveness.
As a side note, my GF just got a new compact refrigerator for her son. It has a warning on it that it uses a flammable refrigerant R-600a. I find it interesting that a new refrigerant that is flammable has now apparently replaced R-12 and R-134a - at least in small refrigerators. If we were going to return to a flammable refrigerant, why not go back to propane. Aside from being flammable, it is otherwise the IDEAL refrigerant.
