I have been wearing Danner Quarry's for 10 years (3 pairs) and really like the boot. I treat them like crap, and they take a beating at work. I had Redwings before that, and they never lasted as long as the Danners do (Danners last me about 3X as long). Back then, redwing made a crappy boot, but I hear that the Redwings are better quality again.
Danner just moved production/assembly of the Quarry back to the USA, so you can buy a boot "assembled" in the USA. I was upset about that when I bought my last pair, so I am glad they are figuring that out.
As long as they keep the Quarry design, I'll keep buying them.
