We looked at a Twp. hall today for a meeting place for our beagle trials. Space looks like it will work well, except I'm a bit concerned about the carpet. It's laid over a concrete floor, doesn't look like indoor/outdoor. Fifteen to 20 guys will go out on their casts and then probably come back in to check scores, eat, etc. Can anyone recommend something we could put over the carpet to protect it some? I thought about a heavy brown paper, taped at the seams. Any kind of plastic would be too slick I think. Dogs won't be in, just guys with wet shoes and clothes.
