We had a substitute preacher the last 2 Sundays. He's from South Africa, immigrated here about 40 years ago. Grew up without medical care, country life, not impoverished, but no frills.
He's 84 years young, never been to a Dr., never been to a dentist, still has all his teeth. Could pass for a 50 year old!
Updated 14 May 2013. Life expectancy in SA ... The life expectancy of South Africans has increased by a year to 59.6 (57.7 for males and 61.4 years for females.
On the city slickers though. Every farmer knows that if you crowd too much livestock together they do not do well.
