Following the ice storm early this year my parents had a bunch of downed trees some of which were piled in the middle of their garden spot and burnt. Now you can see where the burn pile was as the plants in that circle are doing much better than those outside of it.
I guess ashes are good for gardens after all. Any of you had this experience?
