: My bellymower will not cut the grass smoothly on the discharge side. It just started this about 3 weeks ago and leaves a streak of grass that looks bad. the bearings are tight, blades not bent, air pressure in tires even. Could it be belt, it seem tight but does have some play in it. Any help is appreciated.

If you have checked all the other, it is most likely in the linkage that attaches to the mower deck. If the front turnbuckles are not the same, it will raise one side of the deck. Also, the linkage in the center is adjustable and may have vibrated out a few turns. Suggest you pull onto a level area, measure from the edge of a blade down to the ground (cement) and adjust so they are both the same. Double check that your wheel pins are in the same holes. Check the decal to be sure of which holes they should be in. Don't assume they are suppose to be in the same ones. The right side may be different from the left one.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro ... [Read Article]
