Your finding out the joy of a mower deck on a compact tractor. They keep the tractor low so it is easier to get on and off of. Plus they try to keep the center of gravity low.
So you have wide mower deck that has to have some depth to it for grass handling capacity. Then you stick that under the low tractor. The result is a deck that does not lift very high off the ground.
I would bet that you have a 5 or 6 foot deck. You are finding out your yard is not as flat as your thought it was. So the deck ends up holding the tractor up off the wheels. Resulting in you being stuck.
Here is something to think about. They sell the small compacts as a loader and mowing tractor. I have found they really don't do either real well. A skid steer will out load them and a commercial mower will out mow them. Kind of do everything mediocre but nothing well.
This is not a knock on Kubota. JD, NH or any of the other compacts all have the same issue.
I always thought it is better to get two machines that do the job well over one that does not do them as well.
