Yep, that's a deal, depending on what kind of TLC the tractor needs. I have a 550, which is what the Super 55 became, and its a sweetheart. Same physical size as a Ford 8N, but independent PTO, live hydraulics, and enough power to do something. Its what the N Fords wanted to be when they grew up. Especially desirable if they have power steering, remote hydraulics (a box with a lever bolted to the right front of the transmission case, by your right knee) and/or swinging drawbar.
That other deal on the 1250 was in Lodi, too, as I recall- same guy? When you posted about the 1250, the lyric "Oh, Lord, stuck in Lodi again" came to mind.
