It won't rain now until September. I just finished up the last of the hay. 55 acres all alone since mid afternoon Tuesday. I started cutting Tuesday afternoon after that morning rain started to dry off,by 10:30 yesterday morning I had it all on the ground with a 9 foot haybine. I started raking the first of it at 12:30,raked til 2:30 then started baling. By 7:45 last night I had 122 bales rolled up. I started raking again at 8:45 this morning,finished a few minutes past noon. I was baling by 1 o'clock. I just finished at 7:45. 296 bales total in a day and a half. An old man crowding 60 shouldn't work that many hours. Fatigue has set in and long since passed.
