: Hi : I agree wholeheartedly with Cyrus. Only thing I would add is that if the rods have been exposed to weather because they were in the extended position, you should figure in the cost of replacing both the Rod and Piston packing, as these seals have been exposed to a sideload that the seals will remember, and if they do not presently bypass, they will in the very near future. Who sell packing, rods, etc. to rebuild old hydraulic cyclinders, pumps, valves? I've seen new stuff advertised but no replacement parts for hydraulics.
