We put up about 200 bales yesterday in a hurry before a rain last night. About half way through I started to hear a funny double knock coming from the old NH 68 somewhere in the plunger area I thought. So today I looked it over expecting a big repair job, but it wasnt thankfully ! What happened was the nut fell off the shear pin and the bolt was just in there loose, pretty chewed, but it never sheared or fell out ! How I dont know. It was a NH shear bolt . New pin and nut and noise is gone, sometimes a guy gets lucky !
