Like was mentioned, guessing the 880 is part of the model number, but likely a 534 gas motor. My next door neighbor had a construction business and one of his trucks was a Ford with a 534 and automatic transmission. He had a son who had to use a wheel chair to get around, but with the automatic transmission he could drive truck for his dad. We were visiting one day and he mentioned how dependable that truck was for his son. Never had mechanical issues with it. It liked gas, but that's to be expected. Pulling a lowboy trailer with an excavator behind, it would be down around 2 mpg. Hauling 10 yards of gravel, 4-5 mpg.
