Whats she worth. Cut just a smidge prior to bloom. Baled dry, dark green, really leafy, not rained on. Bales weigh about 60-70 pounds. Was offered $6 a bale off the wagon. Havent had pure alfalfa for a while so not sure on value. Field was hit for a burndown to go into beans, was too early so killed everything but the alfalfa. Turning out it may be my most profitable crop this summer, and since I was gonna bean or corn it, didnt take insurance on it for forage, so even bigger saving.
