I am new to this forum site but noted some prior discussions regarding Melroe skid steer - 444. I recently purchased one and I am looking for an owner manual and tips on some restoration. It runs, has an Onan engine - but the hydraulics are very sluggish - checked the pump at the fill cap and oil was coming out. Also, the belt just wore out and need to know where to get a new one - ie does Bobcat carry these. The variable pulley at the back appears to have come loose - the snap ring came off, but also wondered if the nut is to be tightened all the way to the housing?
Any direction to a better forum would be greatly appreciated.
