The knife has to be in the center of the stroke when you tighten the bolt, otherwise the bushing will not flex evenly and will wear fast. The knife back, the frame of the haybine needs to be straight, if you hit a big rock or something and bent the metal it will make the knife bind. When I got my 461 a few years ago it was bent up in the middle and I had to use a 24" crescent wrench to straighten it out. Used to go through a bushing every year, which is 30 acres or less, now it is up to 3 years or so and still doing fine. Zach
