You will want a Super 77 Crank (I think the 770 crank is the same but I"m not positive). The Rod journals are 2.25", you will need to get it offset ground to 2". This will allow you to use your original fleet line 77 Rods, and you now have a 4" Stroke. You can use an Oliver overbore kit that will take you to 3.75" Diameter Bore. These sleeves will drop right into your block. Now when you mock this all up your new pistons will stick above the top of the liners. You will need to have this amount cut off your pistons. I had my pistons cut flush with the top of the liners. I then used a .030 copper head gasket. Your compression will be up a great deal now. You will have to figure out the volume of your head and make sure that your new compression ratio is not too high. With the 3.75" Bore and 4" Stroke you will have a 265 cubic inch engine.
While you are there, an upgrade to super 77 clutch should just bolt on. Or you can have the 77 flywheel drilled for an 88 clutch. I"m not sure if the original 77 clutch can hold the power or not?
