I used to cut, split by hand and deliver a full cord for $25.00. I'd stack for an extra $5.00. Times change. Gas was $1.25 a gal, mix and B+C oil about the same, a new chain was $6.00 and a top of the line saw was $250.00. Now gas is $4.00 s gal, mix oil isn't even found in gallons but runs over $15.00 @ gal, B+C is $9.00 if you catch it on sale or $11-12.00 otherwise, a loop of chain is running over $20.00 some places and a top of the line saws runs about a grand. Chain, B+C oil and bars have all taken a big leap in the past 2-3 years.
