LOU from Wi.- I have tried to stay out of your posts. But your responses to some posters have really blown me away.

First of all, I hope you understand that I am not trying to be mean nor hurtful towards you.

First- "Your dam rite. I'm special.". My reply- NO your are NOT special.

Second- "We have been buying wood from the same guy for years. As a steady customer, year after year, our family has been faithful customer, forsaking all other loggers because we were faithful buyers." Once again, NO you were not faithful customers. You bought the wood at what you thought was a 'good' price.

If you don't like his price you are free to decline the purchase of the wood but, he does not OWE you anything.

Third- "What should have been his obligation to us was to let us know about the price change and why the price increase. He chose to say the price change was the mills doing. B.S." From what you posted, he DID notify you of the price change.

Fourth- "What the reason was He could sell wood to the mills for more money then we would be willing to pay." I would do the same as him.

Fifth- "Sure as heck ,it is his right to go after the money and forsake his loyal customers. Like throwing all his customers "UNDER THE BUS so to speak"." You were only LOYAL to him as long as he was selling wood to 'cheap'.

Sixth- "There is a right way of doing business and a wrong way. He chose the wrong way, as far as we are concerned." That is your choice and I hope you get enough wood gathered to keep you warm this winter.

Seventh- "Were not at his mercy for heating material,. Like I said we are a strong family and self sufficient bunch." See #6

Eighth- " I'll bet the mills don't pay in CASH like we always do, so his income wouldn't be counted against him ,if he chose to do his business that way" It seems to me that "if he chose to do his business that way" was an afterthought on your behalf. I kinda feel that you knew what was going on.

Ninth- "When this buying spree is over for the mills price, he will find out his loyal customer base is gone." NO, this 'buying spree' is here to stay. Energy prices will continue to climb.

Tenth- "He will gain for a short time, but in the end he will lose bigger." NO, he won't lose. He will continue to find customers although it may not be you.

BTW, LOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Greg
