Last winter I replaced the gas springs on my topper's back window. Amazon was the lowest cost source and they have worked well so far. The side doors on the same topper use regular springs that are over sized. As you open the doors the door jerks you arm up pretty fast and they always bang hard against their stops. I'd stay with the original size springs.
