When we got the tractor home we looked in the tank. We did not see any algae like the previous owner said. It would crank but not start and only run on a few short whiffs of ether. We traced the fuel lines and had fuel all the way to the injectors. We cracked 2 injectors and she fired right up. As for the algae, I do not think there was any. I dumped some Stanyadyne fuel de-icer in it just in case and to help clean the system.
