When Fiat sold Hesston to AGCO in 1991 one of the pieces of the contract specified that AGCO would continue to provide Fiat with 4x4-ft big square balers for the export market. I don't know how long this arrangement will last but you still see a few New Holland balers coming out of the Hesston, KS plant. Under the paint they are identical to the Massey Ferguson branded machines. As said, these machines are strictly for export and are only the largest 4x4 size. Other than this old contractual agreement there is no connection between the two companies.
