Dad always said "you'll never earn a living farming". I always said "That's ok; there's more to a living than money". I hadn't the heart to tell him that doing what he did: working 40 years at the Factory, would be the death of me.
Dad's been gone since '91. The factory shut down shortly thereafter, and I'm still working with critters and dirt, and will be until they get me out of bed in the morning with a body bag.
