Dr. Walt, I asked about the anesthesia, the Dr said he could do it without but the injection to deaden the eye is a little intense, and as long as my Son is there to drive me back, I will go with it. After over 25 yrs of poking myself with needles (insulin) I do get tired of needles, but will go ahead anyway, tired of toughing it out with pain. Had a piece of steel removed from my eye a few years ago without deadener, the Dr wanted to use it but I am allergic to that type of deadener,so had to get it out without the drops. The assistant just about passed out, sort of changed his mind on practicing.lol. Thanks for the reply, Regards, LOU
