There are companies out there that recover the rolls. I was thinking its around $2k to do. Not cheap, but if you know the cutterbar is good you still have an operating machine for cheap. There is an amish shop around me that makes metal conditioning rolls. How about taking all the rubber off and welding steel onto the rolls to make your own steel conditioning rolls.
