I might should have posted this below in the MF forum, but I think this is a common issue: I loaned my MF 583 tractor with dual-stage clutch to a family member (I know, I should have known better). Anyway, when he returned it, the PTO portion of the clutch works and operates normally. The second stage, controlling the transmission, does not engage the clutch until the very last amount of upward clutch pedal travel.Before, it engaged a couple of inches lower in the upward travel. Is this an adjustment issue, or did he likely wear my clutch out. I did some heavy disking, it does not feel like its slipping whatsoever.
