Going home, dark, saw it about the time I hit it, wasn't sure what it was, thought it was a dead horse! I braced for the impact... Nothing! Started to wonder if I was hallucinating!
Didn't really wrap, mostly wedged between the drive shaft and the floor. Drove on home, just a 1/2 mile or so. I was under there taking the drive shaft out, here come the truck it fell off of, he had a bunch of it stacked on, no tie downs.
He started asking questions about "Where I found that wire". Then started getting mad because it was all wadded up...
Needless to say, I wasn't really in the mood to hear that. Asked him to take it and leave or I would call the sheriffs dept. He left.
