I heard not too long ago that there were still some of those around new in the crate that had never been assembled. As I heard it,when the war broke out,manufacturers could make 2 models that were made pre war and that Allis made the WC and the G instead of a more popular tractor. It was rumored that after the war,there were so many of them that for every 3 WDs that a dealer ordered,they had to take a G. I have no idea if that story was true.
