Got a new Takeuchi skid steer with the T4 Kubota engine in it. Running it this winter, it kept blowing the dipstick for the engine out and coating everything with oil. The crankcase breather has a filter on it which returns fumes to the intake. In cold weather, the filter freezes solid and the crankcase can't breathe and built up pressure blows the dipstick out. Taheuchi says Kubota is trying to come up with a fix for this, and they are having alot of problems with the T4 emission engines. " we are from the government and are hear to help you" NOT
